Meet the MACSA Board of Directors

MACSA is pleased to introduce our 2026–2027 Board of Directors. As we look ahead to another year of serving Christian schools throughout the Mid-Atlantic region, we are grateful for a board made up of experienced educators, administrators, and ministry leaders who share a passion for strengthening Christian education.

This year's board reflects a wonderful blend of backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives. Together, they bring decades of leadership in Christian schools, higher education, educational advocacy, administration, and ministry. We are excited to see how God will use each of them as they help guide MACSA in its mission of serving schools that serve the Savior.

Please join us in praying for our Board of Directors as they seek God's wisdom and guidance in leading MACSA into another year of serving Christian schools, supporting educators, and investing in the next generation.

Craig Beatty

Craig Beatty has served at The King's Christian School for the past eight years and currently serves as principal. A graduate of TKCS himself, Craig considers it a privilege to return to the school that played such an important role in his own life.

Before returning to TKCS, Craig and his wife, Megan, served as missionaries in Portugal with ABWE. He earned his undergraduate degree from Cedarville University and his master's degree from Grand Canyon University.

Craig is passionate about helping students grow academically, personally, and spiritually, and loves encouraging young people to become Christ-centered leaders.

Suzanne Bruno

Suzanne Bruno has dedicated her career to Christian education and leadership. After leaving public education, she helped establish a Christian school at her church, serving as its founding teacher and later as principal. Under her leadership, the school earned dual accreditation and experienced significant growth.

For more than a decade, Suzanne has mentored Christian school leaders and served in interim administrative roles throughout New Jersey. She has also served as a Field Director for ACSI, a member of the New Jersey Council for American Private Education, and on the New Jersey Department of Education's Nonpublic Schools Advisory Committee.

She is honored to continue serving MACSA and advancing its mission of serving schools that serve the Savior.

David Hegedus

David Hegedus has spent his career serving in Christian education through a variety of leadership roles, including elementary classroom teacher, school principal, Head of School, Associate Director for the ACSI Northeast Region, and Development Director for Anchor Christian Academy.

David's personal mission is to serve God and advance His Kingdom on earth. He considers it a privilege to use the gifts and opportunities God has given him to support Christian schools and those who serve within them.

David and his wife, Heather, have been married for 50 years and are blessed with three married children and seven grandchildren. He remains grateful for God's faithfulness throughout his life and ministry, drawing encouragement from Hebrews 12:1–2 as he continues to run the race set before him with his eyes fixed on Jesus.

Jeff Howard

Jeff is a graduate of Pensacola Christian College and Eastern University. Beginning in 1990, He served as a teacher, middle school principal, athletic director and now Head of School at Cedar Grove ChristianAcademy. His wife Susan and he started at CGCA together and continue to serve at the same school today as administrators.

His three adult children are all serving the Lord in various capacities with the youngest working full time at the academy. He first attended MACSA activities in his maiden year at his current school by being involved in MACSA-led student activities and the MACSA conference in Lancaster. He grew to love the organization's mission and was accepted into the MACSA board membership in 2019.

Dr. Stacey Martin

Dr. Stacey Martin has served at Lancaster Bible College since 2012 as Academic Dean for Education, Counseling, and Social Work. Before entering higher education, she spent seventeen years serving as both a teacher and administrator in childcare, preschool, and elementary school settings.

Her academic work has focused on developmentally appropriate practices in early childhood education and meeting the needs of students from diverse populations.

Outside of work, Stacey enjoys beginning her mornings with an exceptional cup of coffee and spending time mentoring students, leading faculty, and making memories with her family—including her first grandchild, who arrived this spring.

Judi Molenkoff

Judi Molenkoff's connection with MACSA began as a young educator attending MACSA conventions in the Philadelphia area. She credits those early experiences with contributing to her professional growth throughout her career.

Judi went on to serve for twenty years at the Christian Academy in Tokyo, Japan, followed by eighteen years in administration at Lancaster Mennonite School.

Today, she is grateful to serve on the MACSA Board, helping continue the vision of those early leaders who established a strong alliance of Christian schools throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Jonathan Nazigian

Jonathan Nazigian has served in Christian education for more than thirty years as both an educator and administrator. He currently serves as Head of School at West Fallowfield Christian School in Atglen, Pennsylvania.

Jonathan also serves the broader Christian education community as the Founder and Lead Communicator of All Things Integrated. He is excited about what God is doing through MACSA and looks forward to helping strengthen schools throughout the Mid-Atlantic.

Dr. Jim Smock

Dr. Jim Smock has devoted more than 46 years to Christian education. Throughout his career, he has served as a teacher, high school principal, administrator, and Head of School, currently serving at Timothy Christian School.

A longtime supporter of MACSA, Jim has served on both the Convention Planning Committee and the Board of Directors, helping shape the ministry for many years. He also remains active in educational advocacy through the New Jersey Council for American Private Education and the New Jersey Department of Education's Nonpublic Schools Advisory Committee.

Jim is passionate about encouraging, mentoring, and equipping Christian school leaders for Kingdom service.
